Tien-Lun:  Hello from Germany, we just learned that our cruise ship will have an additional call in La Goulette from 13.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs on Friday, 08 October 2010. We have never been in Tunesia before. So it would be first touch in a total different world us. We had great experience before in Lybia (Leptis Magna) while our experience in Cairo (Pyramids) was not nice as we do not like the atmosphere around the Pyramids. Now a question to an expert: 5 hours is a very limited time to discover a new world: Should we stay on board or will you be able to offer us a tour and introduce us to the secrets of Tunisia and make us coming back??? Currently we are two but we would offer this tour to fellow-cruisers in our roll-call and check if other cruisers might be interested to join us. Therefore we should have a quotation depending to the number of participants and a short description what we must see in 5 hours. Thanks for your quotation. Regards
Michael:  i intend to visit Tunesia for about a week in december 2013. Purpose of my stay is to study different countrysides (sand deserts, rock deserts, the northern and southern side of the tellatlas mountains, sebkhas (salt lakes) and maybe the coast) and their flora and fauna. In my opinion the best way to do so is by riding a motorbike or quad, so that i can go offroad. The problem now is to organise/rent such a vehicle and some cheap accommodations with a shower at different places. Would that be a job you could do? How much would your services for such a job probably cost? I could spend around 400 to 500 for organising the trip and everything i need in Tunesia (food, water, accommodation, gasoline, the rent for the vehicle, ...). If the piece of information is of any use, i am speaking english, german and a bit of french. I hope you can help me and i am looking forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely
Sara:  Hello, we will be arriving in La Goulette at 8:00 on Feb 12. Our ship departs at 17:00. We would like to know how much you charge for a half or full day tour? We are interested in seeing the sites of the city, however we are not really interested in spending time in museums. We would like to shop and see and experience the city and/or surrounding areas. We would like to experience life away from the regular tourist destinations. While we like designer shops, we love local markets and bazaars. We would like you to show us to more unique little areas and shops that are not touristy. We like to walk (or drive) and see museums, churches, and places of historical significance (we realize these will be touristy) but do not actually need to go into them all (exterior is fine). We enjoy walking and have no physical restrictions. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!
