Gene: Greetings: I am in the process of arranging tours for our upcoming circumnavigation of South America. We are sailing with Holland American Cruise Line and will arrive at the port in BA at 8:00 AM on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Our ship leaves BA at 8:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2012. I would be interested in your preparing a two day itinerary that would include the following: Boca Area, Recoleta Area, Pink Palace, Cemetery, River Boat-Tigre Delta, Ocampo Mansion, Metropolitan Cathedral and Mausoleum, Tango Show. Of course you will want to add other sights and experiences as you see fit. I envision this being a two day engagement with lunch each day and an evening tango show on the first night. Please price the itinerary as separate tours each day and the tango show as a add on to the first day. Transportation from and return to the dock should be included in the price. Please show all prices as per person in USD for two persons. Indicate the minimum and maximum number of persons you can accommodate. Please list any discounts for for more than two clients.
Dave: I am looking for a private tour guide beginning the afternoon of Thursday the 9th of February. We are a group of 2-couples (4). We will have already done the following tour:
Enjoy many of the city's main attractions, including beautiful parks and gardens of Palermo, the old quarters of San Telmo, the financial district, the historical Government House, the Recoleta Cemetery, Evita's final resting place and many other treasures.
A few sights we are interested (but do not have to see all) in are:
• Cementerio de la Recoleta
• El Zanjón de Granados
• Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
• Plaza de Mayo
• Rojo Tango
• Salón Canning
• Marcelo Toledo
• Pablo Ramírez
Of course we cannot do them all and your job as a guide will to help us see what is important given our time frame.
It may be that at the end of the day we would be dropped off for shopping or entertainment.
How much per hour would you charge (if you are available)?
David: Hello Buenos Aires Private Guide,
Me and my girlfriend are planning to visit Argentina and Chile next November. We are looking for a tour guide that can stay with us for all our holiday. Please note that we still have no idea of how we are going to plan our tour and we will surely need your help to do this. We would like you to organize us a tour of approximately 22 to 24 days starting from Buenos Aires and finishing also there. We would like to visit the higlights and most important places of both countries if possible. We don't need luxury hotels or resorts but normal accomodation with some adventure along the way and mixing with local people and traditions. I hope this information can give you an idea of what we want so we can start planning something. We would like to arrive at a package price when we agree on the itenary, so at the end we would like to have a total price including all transports, accomodations, internal flights and all expenses for the tour.
george: Dear Buenos Aires Guide,
My wife and I will be arriving in Buenos Aires on 17 December in the afternoon. We are interested in a full day private tour with you the next day -18 December. We like your philosophy of emphasizing culture and your flexibility in designing tours based on our interests. We would like to leave the hotel about 10:00 and then are flexible. We like to see and do what local people do, rather than just do what most tourists do. We also like to see a city on foot.
Please let me know what a full day tour will cost for two and four persons. It is possible, but not likely, that some good friends will meet us in Buenos Aires. Please do not include food in the tour price because we usually do not eat a big lunch. Often we like to eat food from street vendors. We will make a decision at the time during the tour and our mood.
Thank you so much.
Warm regards, George
