This tour is personally done by Danny himself, so only one tour a day is possible. Within an hour and a half from Puerto Plata, you will travel through some of the most scenic landscapes, cross over rivers with a jeep, travel through green rolling mountains...
On the way you see exotic plants and fruit trees, wild life, small and tiny villages that dot the mountain side..
On the way up to the top of the campo, where the locals live, you will meet alot of poor but humble people. The views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking. Steven Spielberg chose these prehistoric landscapes for his movie Jurrasic Park. Get to visit with the local people, share a drink with them, see how they grow their own fruits and vegetables, livestock. Get to swim in a river, completely unspoiled, cristal clear water, that runs for miles... Only visited by a few locals... Then walk down the small, scenic trail for about 10 minutes, and you will spend time on a beautiful secluded beach...not visited by the local tourists... An most days you get to see only the locals that live there, come to the beach on horses and mules..
