Born and raised in Luxor, I’ve spent my entire life among the ancient tombs and temple ruins surrounding the city. First, watching as my father guides foreign tourists, and then becoming a private guide in Luxor myself, I can easily say that being a guide is my destiny and I’m very happy with it. It’s real luck that I’ve been raised in a city with so many ancient sites that you can spend weeks exploring each of them in detail. And I will be certainly happy to greet you as an Egypt private guide during your stay in this magnificent country. No matter what you’re looking for, you’ll certainly find it in the tours I offer, which can be adjusted to your specifications. So let’s explore Luxor together!

Situated on the banks of fruitful Nile, this city was established upon the ancient city of Thebes, which was an important cultural and trade center in Ancient Egypt. A large number of temples and tombs have been built in the area throughout the centuries, and even today they amaze tourists with their size and splendor. This is most notable in the Valley of the Kings, but there are certainly other places that allow you to assess the cultural and technological development of this formidable civilization. And you can rest assured that we’ll visit the most interesting and popular of these sites during our tours.

My main focus is offering detailed tours in the region of Luxor and Aswan, however there are private tours in Egypt that will take you to other cities as well. There are different packages that cater to various groups of visitors depending on their spare time and demands. One would say that I’ve inherited the position of a private guide from my father, and I know how it is important to please all the customers and give them exactly what they want. And this is exactly what you will get when booking a tour with yours truly, Mohamed abdel Hamid.

Hi, Mohamed Hamid. It has been over a month now. Nina and I still talk about the trip to Egypt sometimes. We had very good time in Southern Egypt (in your territory). The tour was very organized and the tour guides, especially Hamid yourself, were very professional and knowledgeable. If our friends or co-works or anyone read this plan to visit Egypt we are highly recommended to travel with Mohamed and his guys. By the way if you have some free time you should ask Hamid to take you to his coffee ship right at center of Luxor where you can have a break and catch up your e-mails. Thank you again and Happy New Year. Eric 01/02/2011
