Starting our Tour with Oia at the northern tip of the island, great views, sights and shopping. It's a very cultural area with many arts and craft, From here we go to the Akrotiri excavation site, the Prehistoric city that was buried under thousands of tones pumice stones and volcanic ash.  Pyrgos and Profitis Ilias would be our next stop. This would show you traditional Santorini living and architecture, together with experiencing one of the most spectacular views from the highest point of the island (about 600 meters high), where it is possible to see the entire island. Then I will drive you to my favorite Winery were you will have the opportunity to learn how the wines are made, try them and of course get a bottle or two with you. After that to Agios Georgios ( Perissa the long black sandy beach) for a swim and relaxation or lunch at a beachside restaurant. Of course this is only my suggestion as a tour guide, you can decide your tour as you wish, do not forget, it is your vacation and your Private Tour !! |
