We offer many different rafting tours on rivers in Guatemala's highlands, on the Pacific coast and in the Verapaz and El Peten regions. The rivers in each region are different, but no matter which one you choose, you'll have an unforgettable experience!

Please note:
- on most rivers rafting tours are possible only during the rainy season
- some rivers have challenging rapids and are not suitable for children under 16
- tours on some rivers require previous rafting experience and good physical condition

Rio Cahabon (Alta Verapaz)

The Rio Cahabon in the stunningly beautiful Alta Verapaz region is often said to be Guatemala's best white-water river. Crystal clear water, jungle canyons, exhilarating rapids and hot springs make rafting on the Cahabon river an extraordinary experience.

The complete tour on Rio Cahabon takes 5 days, but 1-day tours starting in Lanquin or El Estor are also available, as well as 3 and 4 day tours.
