Airport - Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport is an airport in Leh, Jammu and Kashmir, India (IATA: IXL, ICAO: VILH). Air India and Air Deccan have daily flights from Delhi. Flights go to/from Delhi, Srinagar, and Jammu. Another way - going by bus. State buses run from Srinagar and both privately operated deluxe buses, and state-run deluxe and ordinary buses run from Manali and from Delhi. Also it is possible go by train. The closest train stations are Jammu or Chandigarh, both at least three days away by bus.
Shopping - There are many exceptional attractions of Ladakh, Leh that cannot be seen anywhere in the world. For example the Yak milk chocolates and butter or a Buddhist bell. A tourist can choose from a number of items from the local market that typically depicts the culture of Ladakh people in its best. Prices are quite high at Leh.
