This trip into the heart of Morocco's Sahara Desert is designed for couples, families, or small groups. Enjoy a memorable time riding camels into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night under the stars. This itinerary can start or end in Fez as well.
I am a Moroccan Nomad named Jonas I grow up in the heart of the desert and the atlas montaine as my desend berber familly is a nomade over the year.. live in desert when it is could and in the montain when it’s hot thank to our model life i have been over morocco montaine and desert betwen the unknowing village and multitude charm places that aren’t on any Map and no one tourist guide write about them… you have to discover them! But, for that, you must relearn to stroll; i let you discover the land differently. with my 4 wheel drive vehicles, mules, dromedaries and feet, i will make you discovering different areas which are not accessible by tourists: from the sunny wild beaches of the Atlantic through the Berber country with its fascinating gorges, canyons, plateaus and high mountains like the high, middle and Anti Atlas, Djebel Saghro and djebel Sirwa to the boundless and varied beauty of the Moroccan Sahara.

With my knowledge of the mountains and the desert sands, the imperial city and the coast city, culture and the history of the area i will let you discover a completely different, hidden Morocco far from the tourist traps and luxury hotels, in the true travel fashion. Along zigzagging paths and hilltop tracks, whether in the Atlas or the Sahara, chance encounters with nomads will prove the hospitality of the locals and lead to magic moments around a pot of mint tea.
With our good organization and logistic you will find that remote nature and culture doesn’t exclude a certain comfort. There would be not always the possibility of staying at a hotel. Instead, we will spend the most nights at berber houses and in tents in magnificent places, if you dream to live and to discover the really Moroccan life.

We were a group of 5 couples-4 from USA and one-from Germany. I found Younes (Jones) on this website, discuss the trip itinerary with him by e-mails and Skype, and finally decided to go with him on the trips around Marrakech, and then on 4 days trip to the desert. All 10 people on the trip believe that it was an excellent choice. Younes and the driver of the very nice Mercedes mini-van he hired for the trip did everything possible for us to enjoy the trip, to get familiar with Marrocan culture, and history. do Morocco.
Desert is unbelievable beautiful and 2 hours camel ride on the sunset, night at nomad at desert, and camel ride back to the hotel at the sunrise next day were the highlight of the trip t

We travelled with Jouness in September 2010. Our tour was an "Imperial Cities" tour with a week stay in Agadir after that. At the stage of preparation Jouness customized the tour according to our flight tickets and provided us with all necessary documents to arrange an international money transfer. The tour was excellently organized. We visited all the places according to the itinerary (and even more). Youness gave us a lot of information and found for us very good local guides in the cities. The hotels were nice. Our trip took place in time of Ramadan what caused some troubles with having lunch in the cities, but this problem was solved. Though not permitted to eat and to drink in the daytime Jouness and our driver did their job very well and they were always ready to help us. We felt ourselves protected all the time. I would definitely recommend Youness as a guide to everyone who wants to discover Morocco.

We found Younes through this website when preparing to go to Morocco in August 2010 as a group of six people. Even before arriving in Morocco, we came to appreciate Younes's efficient style and his readiness to plan the trip according to our needs. During the spring 2009 my father and I went on a unforgetable trip with Younes. In nine days we went in a 4wheel drive from Marrakech over the Atlas into the desert, through all the lush valleys covered with beautiful kasbahs and ended up in Fez. Younes created a custom made itinerary for us and took care of everything practical. We felt very welcome and protected and both Younes and our driver Amin felt like brothers to me at the end of the trip. Younes made it possible for us to communicate with the hospitable and beautiful people who invited us inside their homes and tents. I can warmly recommend Younes as he is openhearted, fun, nice, calm and totally on top of everything. Furthermore he had an extensive knowledge on traditions, religion and the regions we visited. When I go back to Marrocco I will for sure be travelling Younes again.
