After graduation from the institute I had worked as a bridge design engineer till 1993 - then turning to tourism. Starting from 1995 I have turned to guiding in St.Petersburg upgrading my English. Since 1997 I have regularly guided in Moscow (usually 2-4 orders a year). The biggest group of mine was for participants of rally London - St.Petersburg in June 2007 organised by JNF UK - they were above 60, so I had to invite one more guide. Among other special events - guiding a group of relations coming on a sea cruise to commemorate 80th anniversary of one of them (the youngest being below 1) - all in all more than 30 persons - for whom I have arranged visa-free disembarkation; last minute tickets' arrangement at the Mariinsky in May 2002 - with my group of 18 siitting just above Putin and Bush Jr; private chamber concerts in 2006 - at the Polovtsev mansion and at an apartment of one Orthodox family; live concert at Bulat Okudjava museum near Moscow for my group from a river cruise in 2006; helping 4 people to get into Russia with a wrong date in their visas in 1999 (bringing Foreign Affairs ministry representative - almost taking him out of the bed due to late time); oiling a palm of a police officer in Red square...
