Day 1 : Agadir Upon your arrival in the airport you will be welcomed by your guide and accompanied to your hotel. You may want to take advantage of your first evening to smell the air of the Atlantic Ocean on the beach of Agadir.
Day 2 : Essaouira A day dedicated to bathing and relaxation on the beach of the coastal city of Essaouira. The fortifications of the old town shelter Portuguese, French and Berber architecture. With its whitewashed houses, quiet places, friendly cafes, numerous artisans and the delicious fresh fish make this a charming place to visit.
Day 3 and 4 : Marrakech A free morning in Essaouira to investigate the port and to appreciate a seafood lunch. A 2 hours drive will lead you to the Imperial City of the South, Marrakech. This city boasts interesting architecture and an extraordinary street life that makes it a fascinating stop. You will have time to investigate the many shops and the narrow alleys around the city. In the evening, the center of life is in the place Jemaa El-Fna, where a swarm of fanciful snake-charmers, narrators, minstrels, fortune-tellers entertain amid the stalls of foods and fresh orange juice.
Day 5 : Gorges of Dades Your driver will leave you within a few feet of the fabulous rocky formations so that you can continue your trip on foot. In your own rhythm, you will discover intact and wild landscapes strewn with villages with flat roofs among almond and fig trees. Spend the night in the gorge.
Day 6 : Merzouga Discover the ever-changing light of the dunes of golden sand of the Erg Chebbi. Allow the slow step of the camels to relax you while admiring the desert and enjoying the warm reception of the Berbers.
Day 7 : Zagora Traveling on rarely frequented tracks and in a seldom-visited sector, you will experience landscapes very different from those that you may know. At the end of day you will reach Zagora, the heart of a beautiful oasis.
Day 8 : Tata Tata is a city of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and is a good stopping point before resuming the track. It is a quiet town in pastel tones of pink, blue and yellow.
Day 9 : Tafraoute You will cross the sweet agricultural landscapes and then wind into the mountains which can take on surprising tones. You will see small Berber villages coiled on hillsides becoming confused almost with the earth surrounding them. In the afternoon you will arrive at Tafraoute in the heart of a striking landscape. The village is famous for its almond trees, Argan oil and its slippers. Snuggled up in the charming Ameln valley, are the meadows of Tafraoute, ideal for walking.
Day 10 : Agadir Travel to Agadir by way of Tiznit, famous for the souks (markets) of silver. Return to the airport and flight home.
Agnethe, Denmark, Aalborg Thank you Idriss Alaoui. We spent magnificent time. We visited several cities - and every one left some impression about itself.
Agadir to my mind is dark blue waters of ocean, boundless sandy beachs, greenery of eucalyptuses, tamarisks and excellent climate.
Essaouira stayed in my memory with its narrow streets, age-old buildings, animated market-places.
Marrakech is a magnificent non-sleeping square of Jemaa El Fna.
All cities are beautiful and interesting. I am very glad that was able to see them.
