Ephesus and The House of Mary

We leave Kusadasi in the morning, Our first visit will be at the Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient time. After the temple, we drive further to the site of Ephesus. In Ephesus we visit amongst others the odeon, the public agora, the Prytanion temple, Domitian temple, Trajan fountain, Skolastika bath, the latrines, Celcius library, market place and the great theatre.

After an Ephesus-visit we have a short visit a ceramic work-shop where we see how the clay is converted into the art products. We have our lunch at one of the local restaurants.

After the lunch we head for The House of Mary where she spent the last years of her life. It is at least very interesting for its nice surroundings. An experienceful day may, if desired, be completed by a visit at a handicrafts center with rugs and kilims to get an insight into this dying tradition.

If desirable, we may utilize some shopping opportunities like leather, jewellery and turkish delights.
