Geoje is a city in South Korea that is comprised of a sprinkling of islands and has a temperate climate.  This is the ideal place to travel to on vacation as is has an incredible amount of fabulous sites to see and things to do.  Historical points of interest seem never-ending and the many beaches are splendid and desirable.  

Geoje provides a diversity of fascinations such as Haegeumgang Island.  Then, there is Oedo which is a naval western-style botanical garden positioned in Hallyeo-Haesang National Park.  Tourists are able to see this landmark by way of ferry boat.  Vacationers often Jisim as it is notorious for Camellia vegetation. Unfortunately, the Maemi typhoon that struck in 2003 affected the island's plant life tremendously.  An additional prevalent lure at Haegeumgang-do is the Sipja Donggul Cave.

This cave is the resting place for Buddhist and Shamanist sculptures.   Gohyeon Castle is a great site to make a trek as it is highly remarkable in appearance and thought to be the largest castle in the South Sea. 

Geoje Shipbuilding Marine Cultural Center is a self-reliantly established blend of a Fishing Village Folk Museum and Shipbuilding Theme park museum.  Oedo is an island that is situated in the southeast region of Geoje.  It contains an extremely sought-after landmark in Geoje which is the expansive botanical gardens of Botania.  This lovely point of interest draws visitors from all over. Restaurants are plentiful in this city and cuisine is wonderful.  Please contemplate trekking to Geoje for your next destination.
