 Mandalay is second biggest city and capital of upper Myanmar. The population of Mandalay is 1.2 millions.   It was also the last capital of Myanmar king's dynasty.  In 1885 British took over the whole Myanmar.  

Mandalay city and palace were built in 1857 AD by the king Mindone.  He moved his capital from Amarapura to Mandalay.  There are many historical interesting places in  and outside of the city.  Mahamuni Buddha image is one of the main highlight and you can see Mandalay place,city wall, Shwe Nan Daw kyaung, Kuthodaw pagoda and many other historical and cultural interesting sites.

Traditional music and cultural show, marionet show are also amazing to see in the evening.  

Traditional handicrafts such as gold leaf making, marble stone carving, bronze casting and wood carving can be seen in Mandalay as well.

The longest wooden bridge called U Pein bridge is a highlight of Amarapura ancient city which wss built as king's capital in 1782 by king Bodawphaya. Maha Gandayon is the famous teaching monastery in Amarapura.  The main living of the people in Amarapura is weaving cotton and silk.  

Sagaing was also the king's capital in 1315 AD by the Shan King and it is a major Buddhist religious centre in Myanmar.  Many Buddhist teaching monasteries and Nunneries are on that Sahaing hill.    Panoramic view from s Sagaing hill is wonderful and picterious.  Silver smith and pottery is very traditional style.  I believe that this tour can get fully satisfaction for my clients.
