Culture and History tour in Salalah

Today's tour is a combination of the East and West. The tour begins in the morning with a visit to the old fishing village of Taqah and it's century old Taqah Castle. After visiting the Taqah plateau with breathtaken views, we then proceed to the ancient ruins of the famous Sumharam city (Khor Rohri).

The city was the easternmost outpost of the Hadramawt Kingdom on the ancient incense route between the Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf and India.

We then drive to the beautiful, lush, tranqual mountain with the natural underground fresh spring water at Al Razat.

Wadi darbat is the highlight of your tour. Here you have a chance to relax in the shade of the old trees, watch the camels, goats and other domestic animals and picture one of the most beautiful wadis in Dhofar region.

We then drive up to the mountains for a visit to the Tomb of the Prophet Job. Driving toward to the Yemeni border, explore the methods of the process of frankincense trail.

At the end of the trip we enjoy the beauty of the Blowhole that can spray jets of water tens of meters to the air of Maghsayl.
