Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal! I am Paulo Coelho and I work as a private guide in Lisbon. I really like my job and think that Lisbon is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I was born here and ever since my childhood I was interested in its history and culture. I have spent all my life in Lisbon and there is nothing I wouldn’t know about this remarkable city. Due to all these reasons I decided to dedicate myself to the tourism industry and provide the service of a private guide.
It would be my pleasure to help you uncover all the secrets of my motherland and show you its finest attractions and places of interest. I majored in tourism and hotel management and graduated from the University of Lisbon. I have a special degree of a national tour guide which allows me to work in this domain and gives me the access to all the historical monuments and tourism sites of Portugal. It is worth noting that I specialize on history, culture and peculiar traditions of Lisbon. However I could organize you a tour to any part of Portugal, and it would be as interesting and informative as any of my private tours in Lisbon.
I am fluent in several languages such as German, English and certainly my native Portuguese. All the tours I offer are very flexible. I am willing to accommodate you by all means, which means that we can discuss together the itinerary and work out the best possible variant for you. Paulo was an excellent driver and a wonderful tour guide. He spoke excellent English. Paulo was able to search and find a historical church built by a Sri Lankan priest in 1957 in Telherias. Very few people knew about this church and he has contacted the priest of the parish and arranged my trip to that church. This tells about his commitment to satisfy the customer. I visited Telherias, Braga, Sameiro, Braga, Coimbra, Porto, Meadela, IIhavo, Aveiro, Batalha, Abidos, Lisbon, Santiago de Compostelo and Fatima. This was a a fantastic and memorable experience!!! He is well versed and informed in economics, history, and information of the places that I visited. Paulo looked after me very well and did not force me to buy things from the shops.
