In this 8 hrs tour , you discover Constanta , from ancient times to present and make a tour of the Mamaia, the most famous beach resort of Romania . We start city tour in the old part of town , in Ovidius square and explore zone : archaeological and history museums and the remains of the Roman mosaic , Turkish Mosque , promenade at Black Sea , the Casino, the Genovese Lighthouse , Port Tomis . Continue by car for short city center tour and than drive to Romania's most famous beach resort , Mamaia .

Back to Constanta , we stop at the St. Mina wooden orthodox church , built between 1995 and 1997 in authentical Maramures style near City Park Mall , where we can go for shopping ( optional ) .

Tour program :

09.45 - 10.00 Meeting at hotel lobby / passenger terminal / railway station .  Short drive to Ovidiu Square, old city square, where we discover the statue of the Roman poet Ovidius followed by a visit to the Museum of Archaeology and to the vast remains of the Roman mosaics .

11.30 - 12.30 - we continue the tour with a short walk into the streets of the old historical city of Constanta and see the largest Turkish Mosque in the city, the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Cathedral. Discover the essence of Dobruja religious tolerance with three main worship places located within 200 meters of one another. We finish our walk by the Black Sea and romantic view of the old Casino , Genovese Lighthouse and Tomis yacht harbour .

13.00 - 16.00 - City center short tour by car and then drive to Mamaia, Romania's best resort at the Black Sea Coast. Walking to Casino square , a ride with `` telegondola `` - cable car service for a lovely view over Mamaia , lunch / refreshments / tea / coffee or lcecream , souvenirs , photos , or swimming at beach .

16.00 - 16.15 - Leave Mamaia , and go back to Constanta . Stop at the St. Mina wooden orthodox church for photos , and after we can go to City Park Mall for shopping ( optional ) .

17.00 - 17.15 Transfer to hotel lobby / passenger terminal / railway station .
