The city of Khmelnytskyi makes part of a vast historic region named Podillia, which lies in central Ukraine and partially in the north of Moldova. This area has been inhabited for thousands of years, and throughout the history it was always a rather attractive spot for people to settle. That is why there are so many remains of older castles and structure spread all across the area. And as your private guide in Ucraina I'm eager to show you several of them. All of these castles and fortresses are located in small towns surrounding Khmelnytskyi, so it will also be a good chance from the hectic rhythm of crowded cities. Here are some of the places we’ll surely visit:

Medzhybizh – built around eight centuries ago, this fortress houses an Orthodox church built in the 16th century.

Letychiv – a 16th century fortress with a Dominican sanctuary inside, dominating above the surrounding landscape.

Starokostiantyniv – a magnificent fortress established in the year 1571 with a beautiful church inside.

Samchyky – a palace built in the Imperial style with a beautiful landscape garden that is great for walking.

Antoniny – a large palace complex built during the 18th century, which also contains a beautiful garden.
