Customer's Opinions about guide from Valparaiso, Chile

Al was a great guide. Actually sounds American since while born in Chile, he spent his school years in New York. Had a great city tour combining walking, funiculars and comfortable car with driver. Then on to two dry different wineries. All in all a great day.

Al Ramirez Wine Tours is a great tour company! While Al himself was not available to tour with us, Elias and his driver were wonderful tour guides. Elias took us thru the colorful alleys of Valpariso that we never could have done on a bus tour. He knew all of the history of the area, and spoke perfect English and Spanish. We drove to Vina del Mar as promised, but quickly realized we would rather spend our few hours in the area in the much more unique Valparaiso, and returned there for a while longer before our drive to the airport. It was a perfect day. We only wished it was for 6 days rather than 6 hours.

Al was a great guide. Prior to the trip he responded to all my questions promptly and provided good information.
During the trip he was knowledgable and personable. The van was comfortable and the perfect size, and the driver was excellent.
I would hire him again.

We recently had the pleasure of being taken on a 1-day walking tour of Valparaiso by Al Ramirez. (It was even more walking than expected as the cable cars were on strike - but maybe we saw even more?).
