Dear Filipe,

Now it is already two weeks ago since we are back from our wonderful
holiday in Portugal. The weather here in Germany soon turned very
autumnal this year with rain and cool temperatures so we often think of the
sun, the beach and especially of the mountainbike tour together with you in
the Sierra de Sintra. This was really a highlight of our holidays with the
trails and the old places of the convent we vistited and the wonderful views
from the top of mountains to the sea. I've sent you some photos you've
taken from us.They are really good. You can use them for your travel
agency if you like.

After this tour we went on to Sao Martinho do Porto as you adviced us. It
was a very nice and calm place for relaxing and after three days (and after
I've caught a sunburn) we visited Porto, a city with high contrasts of old and
new as we found. May be this was because of 'Red bull Air Race' spectacle
which took place over that days. Of course we took a guided tour in a
portwinery and tasted some portwines which was really great.
On the way back to Lisbon we also stopped at Coimbra which was again
very impressive. We discovered the new university museum of science
were you can experience many physical or chemical effects interactively.
You should visit that, it's fascinating, and I do not know anything
comparable on a german university.

I hope we can come back to Portugal, and take another giuded tour with
you on mountainbikes through the Sierra de Sintra next time. We've
enjoyed that very very much!
