Sharmeen: I am travelling with my mom (53 years old) arriving in Cairo at 4pm on Friday February 1st, and leaving from Cairo at 3am on Friday February 15th 2013.
We would like to spend a couple days in Cairo to see the pyramids of Giza, take a camel ride, see the citadel, go to khan el khalili, the egyptian museum, sakkara
We would like to take a day trip to alexandria
we would also like to spend a couple days in the sinai region to visit mt.sinai, st.catherines and the Ras Mohamed National Park
we would also like to spend about 4-6 days in aswan and luxor, possibly taking a felucca or cruise, visitng the temple of abu simel, temple luxor and karnak, valley of the kinds and queens
finally we would go back to cairo on the last day and visit islamic cairo, we are very interested in seeing mosques throughout the country in any of the places we visit.
Please let me know if you can help me plan out an itinerary or any times that you will be able to provide us with day tours. Also we do not have a lot of money so please give us as clear an indication of how much this will cost if you can.
alia: I'm interested in planning a trip to egypt. I would like to enquire about this personal tour guide option-its price and also a few other enquiries. Frankly speaking, i am still at the very early stage of planning my trip and i don't really have anything confirmed yet. I am actually planning to go for a holiday in january next year, and i would really really love to go to egypt, but i have to know the rough estimation of the cost first in order for me to see if it fits my budget. So lets say that around 6 people are coming, arriving in cairo, for about 12 days, 4 star hotel category would do i guess, and i would like to include a visit to luxor, and aswan. But anyway, do you do tour outside luxor or just inside luxor? If you do, so how much do you estimate that the cost will be roughly about?? including the transportation cost as well as the entrance fee to the places that we'll be visiting. Can you just let me know the rough estimation?? cause i need to know if egypt will fit my budget or not(really hoping that it would fit though :)
Karen: Hello, My husband and I are considering a trip to Egypt in February 2010 and were wondering if you might be able to help us organise some tours etc. I have created a suggested itinerary (below). We would be organising our own flights to and hotels in Cairo but other than that would be looking for a guide who could show us the sights and arrange tickets where required for cruise/tours etc. I really hope you can help! Susan: Hello - we will be arriving in Luxor on March 11th. I definitely do not want to do one of the larger river boat cruises but perhaps wouldn't mind a Dahabia cruise for 6-7 days. A falucca day trip or two also looks appealing but I don't think I would want to overnight on a falucca. (My husband and I are travelling.) We like small groups (i.e. 6 max) or independent tours with a guide, we enjoy eating out at local restaurants (although I'm not sure about whether that's recommended in the areas where we would be), and I don't really want to pack & unpack every night. We would really like a baloon ride in Luxor. My fear about a Dahabia cruise is being stuck on a boat with lousy food! I also don't want to be getting up at 6 am every day to go on a tour - I'd like to be able to sleep in a bit on my holiday! I would like to spend about $3500 US. Do you have some suggestions? Thank you for your help.
