Answers about Croatia
I'm on Hvar Island until at least Sunday and have been looking for a guide. It's just me, but I'd be happy to pay the same fee for a private tour that a multiple-person group would pay. I'm especially interested in history, archaeology, and nature. I see on a couple of guide sites that you appear to still have availability on Saturday. Would you be interested in doing a tour with me that day? I apologize for the short notice. Thanks either way. Best, Liz
Dear Ms. Liz,
thank you for being interested in my tour organization. Yes, I'm available for Saturday, and I can suggest an itinerary. The itinerary is flexible, and I will adapt everything to your needs and wishes.
I'll be your private guide and we'll have an air-conditioned Suzuki S-Cross for the day.
HVAR ISLAND PRIVATE TOUR
- We can meet at the reception of your hotel/accommodation and start with the sightseeing of Hvar city
- We'll drive later on to Spanyola city fortress for a spectacular view (entrance fee is included in the price of the tour)
- Continuing on the old road all the way to Stari Grad, Vrboska, Jelsa, Southern side and more...
- During the tour, anytime you want, we can have a break for lunch, and I'll tell you the best options...
The price includes:
- tour arranging and planning costs
- me as your experienced licensed tour guide
- A/C Suzuki S-Cross
- parking costs
- extra entrance fees (not needed, optional)
If this sounds good for you, please let me know the address of your accommodation in Hvar and the time you wish to start the tour...
For anything else, I'm always at your disposal...
All the best,
Yes. Every tour of Split includes Diocletian Palace, almost 90% of the tour is in Diocletians palace. That is the most important monument in Croatia.
Do you know guides or tour companies who can help me?
If middle :) of October is still ok with you, yes I can help - give a tour or a sightseeing myself or recommend if you prefer to go with the agency.
I happen to be authorised guide for Zagreb and Croatia and am living in the Zagreb at the moment.
How many people do you have? Would you prefer private tour in a rented car? What else would/can you see of Croatia?
Need any advise? Glad to help,
From beggining March till end November. The lower the season, the better you get (cheaper accomodation, no tourists, better food, not too hot weather...). From March till April one can pick wild asparagus, while in October and November
there are pomegranates, in August and beginning September figs...
if you hire good guide its easy to skip the lines ...from Easter day till end of the May is not that hard to navigate ....
all the best from Dubrovnik
Dear Joe, thank you for your inquiry.
The best time to visit Croatia is May, June and September.
In July and August it is too hot and there are many young party people. If you want to explore Croatia and relax I suggest you to come in June or September (first half).
Already after August 20th young people are leaving and more serious people are coming, specially in Hvar.
If you have any additional question please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards, Sinisa Matkovic
It is from the beginning of April to the beginning of June or mid September to the end of October.
