Hello, dear friends! First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is John Gottlieb and I work as a private guide in Santiago. I am always delighted to share my experience and knowledge with people interested in the wonders of my motherland.

I was born in the capital of Chile, and in my opinion there is no such city as Santiago. Without any doubt it is unique. Most people who have been there note that its main peculiarity is the surprising mixture of old and modern. And it is true indeed. But it is not the only one characteristic of the city, and it will be my pleasure to help you discover other ones. I had an opportunity to spend several years in the USA and then stayed in England for more than five years.

This way I have managed to master English language. After leaving England I have been to many other countries, where I paid particular attention to the foreign culture and traditions. To tell the truth I am very enthusiastic about travelling, and I share that special shiver with all the tourists I meet. That’s why I perfectly understand what travelers expect to see in a foreign country, and I try to satisfy their wishes. As any other Chile private guide I offer tailor-made tours. It means that I have an individual approach towards each and every client.

I always appreciate when my tourists share their ideas about how to plan the tour. If they are not acquainted with the Chilean landmarks at all, I do my best at recommending only the most intriguing places of interest, which are really worth seeing. Some of the tours include having lunch in local restaurants. However the price for the lunch is not included in the initial price for the tour, so you need to have some extra money. I also provide transportation, so you won’t have to worry about anything except for enjoying the tour you’ve chosen.
