Itinerary:
Day 1: Shanghai Arrival, Airport Pick-up, Visit Pudong Skyline and Shanghai's Promenade-The Bund
Stop A: Shanghai
According to your arrival flight schedule, your personal tour guide will meet you at the airport.
If you come to Shanghai by ship or train, your guide can pick you up at the port or train station in Shanghai as well.
Stop B: Pudong Skyline and Shanghai Tower
One of the most exciting things to do in Shanghai is that getting a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the top of a tall building, Shanghai Tower. It have the world's highest observation deck (1,844 feet tall or 562 meters). Visitors could see the other megatall skyscapers are below them and become small when they standing at the top of Shanghai Tower. Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China, the 3rd tallings building in the world. It have 128 stories, 2,073 feet tall (632 meters). However, the good views can only been seen in clear days. If it's a big misty or foggy day, you'd better to save it for another day.
Stop C: Shanghai's Promenade: The Bund
It's the most popular attraction in Shanghai. The Bund is a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on a section of Zhongshan East No.1 road. The promenade allows a close-up view of the beautiful old colonial buildings in the former Shanghai International Settlement. One side of the Huangpu River is high tech futuristic high-risers; on the other side is the 19th century colonial decadent architecture. On the Bund, you can get the best views of the Pudong Skyline with all the mordern magetall skyscapers in the Pudong area. You can also get the best pictures for Oriental Pearl Tower here as well. The Bund is beautiful day and night. In the evening all the buildings light up. The dazzling lightshow from the skyscrapers across the river at Pudong is incredible. There are many highlight attractions on the Bund or near this place.
Day 2: Yu Garden -- Old Town -- South Bund Soft Spinning Material Market -- Shanghai Museum
Stop A: Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Your guide will mee you at your hotel lobby at 9:00A.M. Then you will go to Yu Garden. Yu Garden presents exquisite examples of traditional landscaping. The classical garden’s design with its intricate architecture, tranquil ponds, and lush greenery, transported visitors to a different era. Strolling through the zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions offered a peaceful escape from the urban hustle and bustle. You can see some old Chinese architecture that has been refurbished into shophouses, eateries and souvenir shops.
Stop B: Old Town
Fantastic old buildings and great shopping with food places that line the laneways underneath old historic buildings. People can get plenty of food, drinks, clothes and souvenirs here.

Day 3: Vist the Water Towns in Suzhou, Tongli Town and the Classical Gardens of Suzhou
Stop A: Luzhi Ancient Town
The water towns of eastern China renowned for their pretty whitewashed houses, arched stone bridges and bustling canal-side streets. Locals in many of these water towns still maintain their waterside lifestyles, using the Yangzi's offshoot rivers and manmade canals to wash clothes, catch food and for transportation.
Stop B: Tong Li
It is known for a system of canals, it has been given the nickname "Venice of the East". It's without doubt one of the most famous water towns in eastern China – and with good reason. Though like most water towns in the area, it was founded more than 1000 years ago during the Song dynasty. The place retains many of the features of an ancient Wu region town.
Stop C: the Classical Gardens of Suzhou
The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are a group of gardens in the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu, which have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Classical Gardens of Suzhou date back to the 6th century BCE when the city was founded as the capital of the Wu Kingdom. Inspired by these royal hunting gardens built by the King of the State of Wu, private gardens began emerging around the 4th century and finally reached the climax in the 18th century. Today, more than 50 of these gardens are still in existence. Most of them built by scholars, standardized many of the key features of classical Chinese garden design with constructed landscapes mimicking natural scenery of rocks, hills and rivers with strategically located pavilions and pagodas. Today you will visit one of the gardens: Tuisi Garden. It located inside Tongli Town.
Day 4: Visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Former French Concession, Propaganda Poster Art Centre; Airport See-off
Stop A: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall
It tells how Shanghai a fishing village became a city of 30 million and an international financial and trade capital. How it was planned, constructed and how it was developed. Its importance in terms of minerals, business, etc. It has a huge model of the city.
Stop B: Former French Concession
You could see the old interesting architecture, which is remnants from the French concession period. Streets and alleys resemble the south of France and there is an overall relaxed attitude. A lot of bars and cafes.
Stop C: Propaganda Poster Art Centre
The Propaganda Poster Museum is a small museum tucked away inside a building without much obvious signage. It's a very special fascinating place. It conserved chinese history very well. Stop D: Shanghai Departure
At the end of the tour drop you off at your appointed airport in Shanghai, according to your flight schedule of your onward journey. If you are departing Shanghai by ship or train, then your guide will send you to the port or the railway station in Shanghai. Wish you a pleasant onward journey!
