Liechtenstein is a tiny principality in the Alps, bordered by Switzerland and Austria. The entire country is only 62 square miles, making it the smallest –yet the richest- German speaking country. Its capital city is Vaduz and its largest town is Schaan. 

Liechtenstein’s location in the pristine Alps makes it a prime winter sports destination. The Malbun Ski Region is one of the most popular places for visitors, especially the Sareis Chairlift or the quad ride to the top of the ski slopes. Snowboarding and iceskating are prevalent, and tourists also enjoy the Galina Falcon Center.

In Valduz the most notable landmark is the breathtaking Valduz Castle. Other important attractions include the Prince’s Hofkellerei Wine Cellar, the FIS Ski Museum and the Liechtenstein National Museum. The Neuguthof Adventure World is a theme park with a corn maze and petting zoo. The Valduz Citytrain offers a relaxing scenic tour around the area.
