Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo Upon your arrival at the international airport of Ivato, your Tour manager shall meet and welcome you and will assist you with formalities (if needed) such as currency exchange. You then will be transferred to your hotel. If we have time your tour manager and driver will take you on a sightseeing tour around the city.

Day 2: Antananarivo After breakfast, your tour manager and driver will pick you up from your hotel and will take you to Ambohimanga a world heritage cultural site, a lovely & calm location from where there are panoramic views over the surrounding highlands. This will give you an opportunity to have some insight into the fascinating & turbulent history of the Malagasy nation. You then will be taken to lunch at a surrounding restaurant such as “Le Bivouac restaurant”. In the afternoon, visit the national zoo, botanical gardens and museum at Tsimbazaza. Some very rare and endemeic Malagasy plants and animals may be seen there. Ovetnight in hotel.

Day 3: Antananarivo > Antsirabe Drive to Antsirabe with stops on the road at highland village of Ambatolampy, where there are impressive examples of Merina tombs (nb: tombs are important for Malagasy). There will be opportunity to stop for photographic purposes. City tour at Antsirabe, a town popular for its craft stalls (miniatures, zebu’s corn…). Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Antsirabe > Ranomafana National Park After breakfast, depart for the rainforest national park of Ranomafana in the mountainous southern central>eastern highlands. Along the RN7 road, pass by Ambositra, a town fmous for its fine wood carving industry. We have lunch on the spot afer some visit of workshops. Continue south>east to Ranomafana. This exquisite upland rainforest is one of Madagascar's top wildlife hotspots ...

Day 5: Ranomafana National Park Visit of the National park of Ranomafana, a whole foresty park, spreads on 41,601 ha. It was classified World Natural Heritage of the Atsinanana in 2007. It shelters a big wealth in endemic biodiversity but in danger. We can see the rare species there and seriously threatened lemurs...

Day 6: Ranomafana National Park > Fianarantsoa In the early morning, venture back into the rainforest of Ranomafana, which has an excellent system of trails. Departure to Fianarantsoa after lunch. Second largest city in Madagascar. A little city tour, actually to the old town.Stay. transfer to hotel.

Day 7: Fianarantsoa > Ambalavao After an early breakfast, we drive on southward to reach for Ambalavao. Well know for art craft as well: “visit of traditional village of betsileo ethnic group”, “Sisal artcraft”, “Antemoro paper” a well designed paper made from rare tree’s bark, “silk, wild & domestic” & “wine factory”. After the visit of these, we’ll take you to visit the Anja park where you’ll discover and meet of of the most famous lemur in the world, known worldwide: the king Julian, or lemur catta, the lemur with black & white tail...

Day 8: Ambalavao > Isalo The morning will be dedicated to visit the sacred forest of Tsaranoro and its valley. After lunch we go on the national road to pursue to Isalo National Park. Wonderful scenery on the plateau of Horombe. You are not anymore in Madagascar but in Africa, on a safari.

Day 9: Isalo National Park Visit of the national Park of Isalo also called “the Colorado of Madagascar” is part of the Commune of Ranohira, in the region of the Ihorombe. It is 279 Km in the South of Fianarantsoa. The park, furrowed of rivers and their affluents, spreads over 81 540 ha. This massive ruiniforme is a plateau of continental sandstone dating from the Jurassic..

Day 10: Isalo > Tulear From Isalo, drive the last stretch of the RN7 which stops at the Zombitse Forest, the colourfully painted tombs of Andranovory and if you wish, the Arboretum de Antsokay botanical garden, which showcases the incredible flora of the semi arid south.

Day 11: Tulear > Anakao After breakfast, your tour manager & driver will transfer you to the port of Tulear where a boat is awaiting for you to transfer you to Anakao, one of the most beautiful beaches of Madagascar.

Day 12: Anakao Beach 

Day 13: Anakao > Tulear > Tana

Day 14: Tana > Lemurs park > HOME
