Juan - Private Guide in Ronda

I was born in Malaga, where I finished my studies of tourism. As a tour manager, I started doing long term tours in Morocco and Andalusia. I live in Marbella and in the latest years, I guide only in Ronda, Marbella, Malaga and some of the White Villages.

I am allways flexible during visits and helpful.
My first teacher at grammar school was a lady from Austria.
We used to call her Doña Florengilda. Now that I speak german, I figure out that her real name probably was Fräulein Hilde, but try to imagine how it could sound in the early 60´ in Málaga for locals.
I served the army at air forces first in Madrid and then in Los Alcázares.
To afford my studies of tourism I aplied for an important Hotels Company, Sofico at the reception desk.
Afterwards I owned a Pub in Málaga, Villa Luisa until I finished my studies.
Few months later I started as a tour manager.
My first tours were day tours to Tetuán and Tangier and short afterwards in Andalusía; imagine the beginning: arrival to cities where I had never been before, no local guides, no GPS...
Thanks god that is the past.
