The program will include the following activities:

Day 1: The main attraction that will begin our journey to the past during this day will be Dougga. This remarkably preserved city features a large number of Roman buildings that are scattered around the place and serve as a very good reminder of the former glory the Empire is known for even these days. The engineering genius and quality of craftsmanship allowed the temples, arches and villas to withstand the test of time, and now you can walk among these ancient structures.

Day 2: To continue our exploration of the ancient Tunisian history we will proceed to El Kef. This city located in the mountainous region of the country also features many Roman sites such as the peculiar public baths. But there are also many old Muslim attractions that highlight the different side of Tunisian history. Afterwards we will ascend the Jughurta Mountain, which features a wide range of constructions and fortifications built by the Berbers. The mountain was somewhat of a fortress for the Numidian king when he was opposing the Romans, so it’s a very important historic site as well.

Day 3: In the morning, you will have the time to enjoy a little more of El Kef before returning to your hotel in Tunis, where the tour will be over.
