Jamel was a wonderful guide and host! We had a fabulous day in Tunisia (off cruise ship) thanks to Jamel. His knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Tunisia were exceptional. He took us to excellent places, including one of the "touristy" places we requested, but just so we could see it, but not waste all day. He took us to the best Carthage ruins, where the tour busses could not get to. He also took us to other ruins where no other tourists were. It was great! We went to local Markets and downtown too! It was an exceptionally well-planned day! Thank you Jamel

I selected Jamel as a tour guide for a group of six of us from the information on this website. We arrived on the Star Clipper. Jamel met us just outside the port gates,an easy walk from the ship.
We did't want to big 30 person tour with our shipmates. We wanted a personal tour in the five hours we had in Tunis.
Jamel is an excellent guide. His English is excellent. He customized the tour as we asked before meeting him and while on the tour. We went to the Bardo museum in Tunis. Home to Roman mosaics and much more. Go there if you can. Jamel was very knowledgeable about the museum. We loved having a private tour of it. He always took time and let us move at our own pace. He answered all our questions.
He was very professional ,open and warm. He shared about his personal life and gave us many insights into life in Tunis today.
All six of us gave him rave reviews. We highly recommend him .
