Susia:  We will have one day on Feb 19th, 2009. I will be at a hotel, (having flown in the day before) andwill be meeting my Father, who will arrive by cruise ship-Darling Harbour. I have below a tour that I found. We would interested in a city tour , seeing the opera house and Bondi beach., and of course any suggestions. If you are available, if you could advise what we could do in the time we have (see below ) and the cost. Thank you. "Visit with the Rocks to get an insight into the city’s history as you visit the site of the first European settlement and explore its colonial buildings. Travel over Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the world’s largest steel arch bridge constructions. From here it’s on to the world famous Opera House. Constructed over 13 years, the Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Australia. From here stops will be made at Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and Chinatown. If you select the option, you will go on a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour which will be delightful. The cruise will start at approximately 12 noon. If you haven't selected the luncheon cruise option, there will be some free time for lunch. After the cruise/free time for lunch, visit the famous beaches - Bondi, Manly and other northern beaches. We would probably just want to go and see Bondi Beach (would not need to really spend any amount of time there.) Also the lunch cruise sounds very nice. Could you tell me how long it is. I will be at a hotel (do not have one yet) and my Father will be arriving at the peir by curise ship. Would it be best for him to meet me at the hotel and then to be picked up at the hotel? Please advise and then at the end of the tour we could get my luggage from the hotel and then be taken to the ship. Ship arrives February 19, 2009 8AM and leaves 9PM Could we maybe start 9-10 AM? Thank you.
Mimi:  We are a family of 5 adults and 2 children (below 12 yrs old) and would like to go on a private tour in Sydney this coming December. The places that we would like to cover are: - St Mary's Catherral - Chinatown - Darling Harbour - King's Cross - The Rocks - Sydney Opera House - Harbour Bridge - Mrs Macquarie's Chair - Sydney Harbour (with cruise if it is air-conditioned) - Sydney Tower + OzTrek - Paddy's Market - Sydney fish market - Australian Reptile Park OR - Port Stephens with * Australian Shark and Ray centre * 4WD sand dunes tour and sandboarding * Dolphin Watch Cruise - Hunter Valley with * Hunter Valley Gardens * Hunter Valley Chocolate Company * Hunter Valley Cheese Company * Pokolbin Vineyards and Winery tour and wine-tasting session - Blue Mountain with * Featgerdake Wildlife Park - Fruit picking at an orchard if it is in season. We would appreciate it very much if you could advise us on the price and how many days do we need to cover all the above. I understand that food and lodging are not included in your package but will you bring us to the recommended restaurants and we'll pay our own bill? I look forward to your prompt reply. Best regards, Mimi
Pam:  I am travelling with a group of family and friends (5 persons total - all ladies) and we will be arriving at Intercontinental Sydney for a pre-cruise stay on January 4. The next day we will have a free day prior to sailing since the Diamond Princess departs in the evening. I am interested in a private tour guide who can show us the Sydney area on January 5, and would appreciate it if you could provide any pertinent information (availability, cost, suggested itineraries etc.). I previously visited Sydney in 2002 and utilized an excellent private tour guide, but they are unable to accommodate more than 4 passengers. I think my friends would enjoy a trip to Bondi Beach and Featherdale Wildlife Park, both of which I visited previously and greatly enjoyed. On the same day I was also able to see the Blue Mountains area and have a pleasant lunch in Leura, and this may be an option my friends would enjoy. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Eunice:  Hi there, We are a family group of 6, planning to have a nice 7-day holiday in Australia. We dont have a specific city to visit, however we were offered to stay in one of the hotels in the following cities for 7 consecutive days, New South Wales, Central Australia, New South Wales, North Coast Australia, New South Wales, Snowy Mountains Australia, New South Wales, Sydney Australia, Queensland, Cairns Australia, Queensland, Gold Coast Australia, Queensland, Sunshine Coast Australia, South Australia Australia, Tasmania Australia, Victoria Australia, Western Australia This will be our first time to Australia, my siblings are 7,9,17 year old, I am 20, and my parents are in their middle age. We heard about Australia's beautiful coast, wonderful farm stay and wild life, and a sightseeing in the big city will be great for the whole family. Our budget is around AUD500 per person. Hope to hear from you soon!
