Private Guides in Florence
All these tourists had unforgettable travel experience because of our guides from Florence.
Let them make your dream vacation a reality.
Larry: My Wife and I are going to be arriving the morning of 3 June 2013 in Florence and be leaving in the morning of 5 June to travel to Venice. We will also have a small car, but have not booked accommodations in Florence as of yet.
As it is my Wife's first time, we are looking for booking you for the 3rd and 4th. We will be happy to do walking tours, but if we need to drive somewhere, we could use our car and take you if it makes sense.
Lastly, we have two special requests ....
#1 Do you ... or someone you know guide in Siena? We will be there the morning of 2 June and could even meet you there and drive you back to Florence with us as we plan on overnighting in Florence.
#2 My Wife is very interested in learning how to make an authentic EXCELLENT Red Sauce from a restaurant or in someone's home ... it doesn't have to be formal ... but she has always dreamed of learning how to do it in Italy .... can you help?
If we can get a good itinerary set and agree on price, I am happy to make a deposit to hold your time.
It will be our honeymoon and we are very excited .... we are in our late 40s/early 50s and very active and fit.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Scott: Hello, Guide!
My name is Scott Leonard, and you may remember giving my wife, Gwen, and me a wonderful tour of Venice last June (the 29th). We were at the very beginning of our trip, and you give us a great introduction to so much of Italy. We truly enjoyed your perspective on both life and art. We went on to enjoy, Vicenza, much of Tuscany, The Palio, Florence, and Rome.
While in Italy, a life-long friend of mine who now lives in Vicenza spent several days with us, and I am only now thanking him for his hospitality by creating a large photographic montage entitled "The Doorknobs of Rome" (He loves such details, so it's a perfect gift).
May I impose on you to respond to this note with the proper way to write the poster title in Italian?
At the bottom of the poster, in Italian, I would like to properly write "The Doorknobs of Rome."
I would sincerely appreciate your help.
Thank you! Scott
P.S. - Out girls are now 4 & 6 years old, & we are planning a trip with them to Italy in the next few years. Would you consider a tour of Venice oriented toward curious (and ususally very polite!) children?
Gary: I sent the following message through Our Explorer but received no response. Perhaps you did not receive it. Please review and respond. Thanks.
Livorno - May 18th
We are a family of four (ages 56, 56, 23 and 21) arriving by cruise ship on May 18th. We would love to have a tour that includes a brief stop at Pisa plus the highlights of Florence. We don't need to get bogged down in details/information that we will not retain. We would like to get to know our guide, the people and the highlights, hopefully with a bit of fun along the way. This may be our only chance to see this part of the world, so we want to be balanced in what we see and do. My daughter (21) is a student who would really like the chance if we could stop along the way, if possible, at a trendy shopping area - not high end, something that is student cool and priced accordingly. Your reviews look great. Are you available? What would be the price? Suggested itinerary?
Eitan: My wife and I will be in Florence on the 12th and 13th of this coming May and are looking for a private guide who is fluent in English.
It may help to know that Rita and I are normal, friendly and in good physical shape [for grandparents in their 60's].
We are curious about everything; yet we don't feel it is either necessarry or possible to see and do all that Florence has to offer in two days.
We want a heavy dose of Florence without being knocked out when it's time to enjoy good Italian food....
Furthermore, let me say that we are not big on religion; saints and cathedrals are not are not our thing.
We are very interested In history, art and culture [there should be plenty of that... Si?]. Unfortunately we don't know enough
to tell you what are all the must see attractions [e.g., Accademia and Uffizi Gallery, ...etc.].
We are not visiting Florence to go shopping.
