What I am hoping to do is come up with a plan that would include arrival at the airport and then a half day tour, perhaps of Malaga, on the way to the hotel (to keep us awake so that we go to bed closer to bedtime in order to deal with jet lag). We would then be on the ground staying at the Marriott Playa Andaluza for 4 full days leaving again on a flight that leaves at noon on January 2. Ideally I would like a quote for:
December 28: transfer from the airport and a half day tour (perhaps Malaga?)
December 29: full day of touring, perhaps leaving the hotel at 9:30 am for 8-10 hours
December 30: full day of touring, same schedule
December 31: partial day of touring, perhaps leaving the schedule at 9:30 am for 5-7 hours (any advice about New Years Eve festivities?)
December 1: full day or partial day of touring – what are the considerations for New Year’s Day in Spain?
December 2: transfer to the airport
This is a very full schedule and is the most we would do. We would also be willing to take a day off and stay at the hotel, and we are also willing to do a very long day if that would create a great itinerary (possibly even an overnight).
Destinations that interest us are Gibraltar, Malaga, Tangiers, Granada, Ronda, or whatever you would suggest to include or as itineraries. We have two adults, and four children. Our children are experienced good travelers and love history and are ok with a full itinerary. I am very open to suggestions and I hope this helps.
We already have our plane tickets and we are coming, and I would love to find a great guide rather than renting a car. Thanks!
victoria: In Ronda I can stay Monday and Tuesday, which week of October I do not know yet, because I,m working on my trip with travel agent and am afraid she might have problems with booking of the hotels.I do not want to spend money for fancy hotels. But happy to have good escorted tours, and they are pricy.
Can you help me with two questions.
I come to Seville and stay there for 5 days.
From Seville I,m going to take two tours: one to the East (Cadiz, Jeres de la Frontera) and one to the north of Andalucia.
Can you give me advise about the best way to get to Ronda from Seville.
My dream is to go to Ronda from Seville through area of White Vilages, encluding Arcos de la Frontera and Park Grazalema on gaided one day bus tour. This is my first question.
Coming to Ronda I,d be happy to take a walk day long tour not far from Ronda to enjoy that beautiful nature around.
Can you enclude me in one of your tours?
Or give me your professional advise how to make my dream come true.
After Ronda I,ll spend two days in Cordoba.
I,ll stay in Granada for 3 days, where I,m going to find a good one day escourted tour to see Mother Nature to the Est from Granada.
Can you give me any recomendation about that?
Hope to see you in October, my best wishes for you, Victoria.
