Let them make your dream vacation a reality.
Olga: Hi, our daughter (17 years old) will be traveling alone from Washington D.C. to Reykjavik (arriving on June 15, 2011 6:20 in the morning) to join her school tour group who would get there a few days earlier then she does.
We need someone (I am looking for reliable, local driver/tour guide) to pick her up at the airport and drive her to the location in the Reykjavik to escort her to the rep of her school tour group. I need a little more then taxi service, the agreement with the school was that she will not show up alone, but someone will accompany her to the point of contact with school chaperon.
Do you do this kind of services and if you do, could you please give me a quote how much it would cost.
Also, please let me know if you're accepting payments in US$ or she would have to have local currency on her to be able to pay you.
If you don't do airport transfers, could you please recommend someone trusted who could do that.
My family and I are looking to come to Iceland for 13 nights/14 days in August. We will be arriving in Reykjavik from New York USA. We would like to know if you would be willing to be our private guide and driver during our stay in Iceland?
We are a husband, wife and 3 children (ages 9, 5 and 3). The children are 100% well-behaved -- they have their Japanese mother's character. They have travelled much before.
We would like a customized itinerary to Iceland. We have put one togther below and would appreciate your opinion on it. Any changes, omissions, additions or deletion are welcome. It is just our blueprint.
We will need you to select reasonable (not over the top) comfortable accommodations for our stay and yours.
Hope to hear from you soon so that we can book the trip and secure the flights.
Louis: We are a group of 5 men, who make a trekking-tour every 2 years without our families.
This year (end of august) we come to Iceland.
First we wanted to do the Laugavegur (onto Skogar), but we think this is too touristic.
So we are looking for other possibilities. But if we want to go into the inlands of
Iceland, we need a guide.
We are, for example, thinking of a 5 to 6-days trekking tour on the west-side of the
We read that this is a very good hiking-area with beautiful scenary.
We have our own tents with us, if necessary and can bring own trekkingfood with us.
Glaciercrossings and rivercrossings would be very good to have in our trip.
Can you arrange such a hike?
If yes, could you please contact me.
We arrive/leave by plane in Reykjavik.
Al: Dear Guide,
My name is Al. I live in the Unites States and I'm interested in visiting Iceland. I would like to explore a remote, wilderness region of Iceland. I've done wilderness treks in other parts of the world like Mongolia and Peru. Are you an experienced guide for wilderness trips? I would also like to spend a few days in Reykjavik. I heard there are interesting clubs and bars in the city and I would like to enjoy a bit of that too. What are your rates? When is a good time to do a wilderness trek in Iceland? I would like to visit before the main tourist season so I can avoid seeing too many other tourists. What is a good month for a trip?
Thank you for your time.
