2. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam

This temple is considered to be one of the largest existing Hindu temples in the whole world. It is situated on an island in the river Cauvery and occupies approximately 632,000 m2 (its perimeter equals 4,116m). The Temple of Heaven is located in Beijing, China. It was built to symbolize heaven and earth. The rectangular southern wall of the temple symbolizes earth, while the circular northern wall symbolizes heaven.
