I started to work as a guide soon after graduate university and I open up my company around my area to provide tour activities, the name of company is Alpine chat adventure, it's a local safari and trekking tour company based in Tanzania, completely locally owned made up of team of travel professionals and experienced with passion and commitment towards adventure for Mount Kilimanjaro trekking, wildlife safaris and other holiday trips in Tanzania. Over the years, we have provided countless remarkable experience of authentic Africa. We have changed thousands of lives by introducing tourists to the continents that brought the happiness, learning’s and priceless memories.
The company specialized in Tanzania wildlife safaris e.g. (Serengeti wildebeest Migration & Ngorongoro crater etc.), Mountain trekking e.g. Mt Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar holiday tours, cultural & Day trips tours.
Alpine chat adventure was not always the top-rated company it is today. Erick the founder& owner of Alpine chat adventure he was first started out as an idea to operate tourism activities in Tanzania, it was 2014 by that time I was fresh from college, (a college of Africa wildlife management Mweka). With my Bachelor degree I realized that running the tour company is not an easy thing it needs experience and capital by the time I had only knowledge in my hand, I could tell you at that time my goal was to do things better, shake up the industry, etc, but I`d be lying, I was young and looking to make living. I decided to work as a tour guide in other tour company and specialized as professional safari guide and Mount Kilimanjaro guide. Good news!!!!! Guess what, I got an experience and knowing how other tour operator running the business.
The beginnings of Alpine chat adventure, later in january 2017 when I was up the Mount Kilimanjaro at Barafu camp 4673m/15,295ft I saw a very curious little birds in front of my tent it has a short tail and long legs, it is brave and approach people the name of bird was Alpine chat also known as the Moorland chat or hill chat is a species of songbird, it is endemic to north-east Africa where it is common in its habitat. It lives at high altitudes on moors and grassland, usually above 3400m (11,100ft). I loved the bird and I decided to call my company, name of the bird which is alpine chat, The same year with the great support from my family, my mom Emmy, I decided to register it in Tanzania government as a Tour operator, I set up an office in Moshi the city where I born and raised in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. At the beginning it was like a miracle I think it was bless from my mom who always prays to God for good wishes, we received many travelers and both of them were satisfied with our tour services. Today Alpine chat adventure is a top-rated company serving hundreds of travelers each year. Our focus is tailor-made tours with a responsible approach, personalized and enriching experiences together with benefiting the local people, wildlife and conservation efforts of the country.
