JR:  hi madam, i came across your site on Trip Advisor based on the great reviews about your service. i would like to inquire if you are still available on the first week of June 2012 for a possible booking of your tours. i will be coming with my girlfriend and two friends plus their 3 yr. old kid. all in all, we are 5 ( 4 adults and 1 kid ). the trip to venice, of course aside from the tourism aspect because we want to see the grandeur of the city, will also be the day that I will propose marriage to my girlfriend of almost 7 years. with these, i thought of asking your help through your guided tours, the best way to accomplish this task. my general idea is that we will go on with the usual walk through tours and end up in the Gondola ride. as the Gondola ride will end, as we pass by one of the canal bridges, a group of people or maybe a sign will be placed on the bridge, asking for her hand on marriage...then if there are singers in the Gondola ride, it will also be the best time for the person or persons to sing. i know the idea is kinda cheesy and it may have been done already, but for me, this is the best and great way for me to show my girlfriend how much i love her. nways, these are just my ideas. of course, with your vast experience, you may have witnessed more romantic ways of doing it, hence, your advise will truly matter. with these, maybe you can give me the best advise on a tour package plus the things that would be needed in my marriage proposal plan. if you can also provide the possible rates so i can adjust the budget accordingly. actually, i also wanted this to be filmed. you may also know people in venice who specializes in such video coverages to capture the moment in its most perfect form. btw, me and my Girlfriend are both Filipinos but I am an expat TV Director and Producer in Qatar. il be meeting my girlfriend again in June and our meet up would be the best time to ask her hand for marriage. we have been together for almost 7 years. ( 6 years together in the Philippines and almost 1 year long distance for I am now based in Doha, Qatar - we shall meet again this June, and il be inviting her to Venice ) so there, i am looking forward for your advise. thanks =) jr
Anja:  My husband and I along with my parents (4 of us total) may be going on a Celebrity cruise in November. We would be arriving in Venice on Nov. 23 at 2 PM, docked overnight and leaving Venice on Nov. 24 at 1:30 PM. We have been on 2 Mediterranean cruises that included Italy, but we have not been to Venice yet. We are excited to hopefully be able to go on this trip and our experience with private guides has been very positive so I am researching our options right now. I noticed that you got excellent reviews too. Please tell us more about the tours you offer. We may want to divide our time between the two days if that's possible too. I know we would love to see the highlights that you list like: St. Mark's Square area, Basilica and the bell tower, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs, and we'd love to go to an authentic cafe to eat. We'd also really like to take a gondola ride and see some of the other sights that capture the beauty of Venice. We are certainly open to recommendations. Please let me know your availability, more about your services, and what your tours and costs would be. Thank you and have a great day! Anja
Lynda:  We are a family of 5: Mother, Father, and 3 children ages 7, 9, 14. We lived in Italy for a year, 20 years ago and we will be starting a trip to Croatia with 3 days in Venice. Our children are very experienced foreign travelers, but they might not appreciate hours and hours of art history. We have read some lovely children's stories about Venice, so they are anxious to visit some of the sights in the stories. We are looking for a private tour guide who might help us visit Venice in a way that would appeal to rather sophisticated children. Our kids are accustomed to rather unusual travel itineraries: They have climbed extinct volcanos, repeled deep into subterrainian caves, snorkeled in rolling open seas. They have been in areas of Belfast and Northern Ireland that the police will not visit. They have hiked the cliff edges of the Alps. Could a tour be constructed to hit the high point of Venice along with some unusual sights that would appeal to "off beat travelers" like our family? We will be arriving in Venice on Saturday Noon, June 16. We will have June 17 and June 18 to see the city.
