Located in about an hour’s drive outside Dubrovnik, the Littoral region of Montenegro boasts a large number of historical sites surrounded by amazing beauty of local nature.

Our tour takes us from Dubrovnik to the Kotor bay, which is a UNESCO site located on the territory of Montenegro. Once we pass the bay, the scenic road will take us through the picturesque towns of Kotor, Perans and Risan.

Perast is a very small town but it’s not the size that makes this place so special. Located in the Bay of Kotor, this town looks like if it was pictured by a landscape artist and put there like an illustration. Surrounded by mountains and reflected in the waters of the bay, Perast is truly amazing.

The town of Kotor will be our second stop during the Montenegrin tour. This UNESCO Heritage Site is very fascinating because of its well-preserved state, showcasing original medieval architecture of this region as it was back in the day it was built. Most of the buildings in Kotor were built between the 12th and 14th century, so its architecture is really genuine and original. The tranquil atmosphere of this place and the beautiful nature surrounding the old fortifications will make you want to stay for much longer that we can during this tour.

Our last stop in our visit to Montenegro will be the town of Budva. This place is the most popular tourist spot in the country, known for its numerous beaches and interesting tourist attraction. However, as any town in this region of the Adriatic, it also has many historical sites to explore, as you will see in the Stari Grad (Old town) district.

NOTE FOR CRUISE GUESTS FROM DUBROVNIK: During the high season, the traffic between Dubrovnik and Montenegro is usually very heavy. Thus, some parts of this tour will be dropped in order to ensure your timely arrival back to the ship.
