Staying in Nairobi's beautiful garden suburbs, enjoy the country surrounds and a walk in the nearby Giraffe Sanctuary. From here head to Amboseli National Park for superb game viewing and views of Africa's highest mountain - Kilimanjaro. Flying north along the Rift Valley brings you to Sabuk Lodge on the Laikipia Plateau, an area often referred to as the last stronghold of romantic East Africa; vast open ranches, shadowed by snow-capped Mount Kenya and home to many traditional communities including the Laikipia, Masai and the Samburu.

Three days are spent game viewing in the rolling green plains of the Masai Mara. Considered to be the best of Kenya's wildlife areas, the fertile Mara plains sustain an enormous amount of game and are home to the Masai people.

The regions you visit are diverse and the experience that each of the lodges and camps offer is so diverse that even the most active children will be busy all day. We as safari operators often travel with our children (all aged under 12) and we have learned that they need variety of activities, adventure, wholesome food and early nights. A safari is a superb family experience.
