Rialto is mostly known for the legendary Rialto Bridge across the Grand Canal.

You will be able to feel the busy atmosphere of Rialto by visiting its numerous markets.  There are different kinds of markets in Rialto, and you will be able to find there anything you like: fish, sardines, black squid, squill, eel, vegetables and fruit. After exploring the countless markets in Rialto we will proceed to the place which used to be the red lights district.

We will find there the famous among tourists Bridge of the Tits. It is famous due to the fact that it was used by the prostitutes, who offered their service back in the 15th century. After exploring that region we will proceed to the St. Polo district which is very quiet is compared to Rialto. As a professional private guide in Venice I would recommend you to visit the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. It is a very old building erected in 1478 and famous for its interior design and decorations. It was the legendary Italian painter Tintoretto who provided paintings for the scuola.
