This Fez city tour is one of my favorite tours. My name is Sarhan and I am the private guide in Morocco. This tour will take one full day. I shall meet you at your hotel after you finish your breakfast. Then we will head the Holy city of Fez. This city is the Jewel of the Spanish-Arabic world. This town is one of the oldest and one of the most mysteryous yet beautiful places in Morocco.

There are a lot of merchants and artisans on the streets of Fez. Its sounds and sights possess people’s hearts. One could visit the great University of al-Qarawiyyin. This place for eleven centuries was the religious and intellectual center of the empire. Fez was the kingdom’s spiritual capital. Then we will visit the workshops and markets situated in the Medina, the labyrinth of sloping alleyways.

This location is called Kissaria, which is a commercial center. Many vital goods can be purchased on the markets of Fez like silk, maze-cotton fabric, slippers, and more. For many centuries the work of craftsmen has been regulated by guilds. It was very important to have the most qualitative goods on sale. We will leave the souks through the Bab Boujloud gate which is decorated with blue and green faiences. Also we could visit the famous Museum of Moroccan art.

After the cultural part of our city tour we could go shopping. When we are done with the shopping we can get back to the hotel via train or airport. Among many of my tours I also provide private tour in Tangier.
