Day 1 Casablanca / Transfer to Your Riad / Hotel

Pick up will take place at the airport of Casablanca,then You will drive to Marrakech city

Day 2 Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast explore one of the imperial cities Marrakech – “the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure you see the most significant historical, heritage and cultural sites, including the Koutoubia Tower, Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant near the square, you’ll take a walk through the famous souks and the rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Day 3 Exploring Essaouira

The exploration begins today in the city of Essaouira, also known as “Wind City of Africa”, excellent for wind surfing and sailing. You will visit many fascinating sites, including the sea port where the seamen uncover the catch of the day. Stroll the sandy beach that stretches way to the south. The laid-back atmosphere of this town, the dramatic ramparts and the sandy beach have together created an attraction for artisans and hippies for years. Essaouira has a bohemian feel quite different from the rest of the country. Back in the 1950’s Orson Wells stayed at the Hotel des lles during the filming of “Othello”. This picturesque town of Essaouira was the home of many other film productions. Jimmy Hendrix’s song “Castles Made of Sand” was written two years prior to his visit to Essaouira.after your visit to Essaouira ,you will drive back to Marrakech

Day 4 Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast in your riad we will set off for the Dades valley. Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka pass in the High Atlas Mountains we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou which has been the backdrop for many films including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Alexander. After lunch marvel at the picturesque Taourirt Kasbah’s historical monuments plus the beautiful natural landscapes views in Ourzazate and the Roses valley, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. On this Morocco Tours Desert, we’ll also pass through the Berber villages of El Kelaa des M’Gouna to arrive to Dades valley where we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan house with dinner and breakfast.

Day 5 Dades Valley – Todra Gorges– Merzouga Camel Ride

Today’s target point is to arrive at Merzouga, the place for the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert and it is about 32 km long and 9 km wide. On our Morocco Tours Desert, you’ll have the opportunity to see many oases like the oasis of Tinjdad. Then we continue our tour passing through the little Berber towns of Mellab and Touroug where we can stop for lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant. After this break, we will continue our way enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Tafilalet and the black Hamada before arriving to Merzouga. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel-man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. The camel trek takes about 1hr 30 min to the camp where you will enjoy the sunset and watching stars. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

Day 6 Merzouga – Erg-Chebbi ,Camel Ride

After breakfast in the accommodation, your journey of Morocco Tours Desert, will start to explore the area. Begin by a visit to the ‘village of the blacks’, originally slaves from Sudan, Mali and Senegal to experience their music and lifestyle. Later, we will drive in the desert area to meet nomad families living under Berber tents- to explore their way of life. Today’s lunch will be a delicious traditional Berber meal (Berber pizza) with a local family. You will have the option also to visit the old city of Rissani – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is a city surrounded by 360 ksar approximately (a fortified village with many towers) and has a big souk (an open market), held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Tombouctou in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and clothes. After that we Drive back to the village of Merzouga. Accommodation will be in a Hotel

Day 7 Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Cedar forest - Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, you will we start your last day to the north through the Tafilalet palm grove, the biggest in the world. You´ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road. So this fabulous way leads to the Ziz valley, its river comes down from the high Atlas and feeds the palm grove. Here you will make a stop and from this high viewpoint, enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Then you will drive through the “Camel Pass” 1907 m= 6256.562 ft, in the High Atlas Mountains.
You will make another stop in Midelt, just in the heart of the Atlas where you´ll have free time for lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will continue our way through the Cedar Woods where, if we are lucky, we´ll see some monkeys. The next place we´ll visit is the city of Ifrane, situated in the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above the water level. Its broad avenues, its urban development with perfect cleanness, the gardens, the green areas and its architecture make this city look like a Swiss town. Ifrane feels misplaced in Morocco. That is why it is named the Moroccan Switzerland, and if that is not enough it has an important ski resort, Michlifen, About 6 pm we arrive at Fez, transfer to the hotel

Day 8 Exploring Fes

Today explore Fez, it’s oldest and largest medieval city in the world. A local licensed historical guide will accompany you as you discover each of the two old Medinas, the largest which is Fes El Bali. In 1981 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes El Jedid, the old city, which was built by Merinids. The former has so many fascinating historical sites such as: Al_Qarawiyyin, which dates back to AD 859, and is the oldest continuous functioning madrasa (Old School) in the world. The Ancient Tanneries where you can witness the tanners incredible labor of making Babouches (Moroccan Slippers) as well as wallets, handbags and a host of leather goods. You will have the opportunity to stroll throughout the Souks (Old Markets) in the Old city of Fez.

Day 9 Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

Pick up will take place at your Riad/Hotel and drive to Meknes City, Morocco’s first Islamic city and second imperial city. Its medina is very old as was a capital of the Kingdom and had a Powerful leader. You will discover the most important monuments in Meknes city such as Palais Dar El Makhzen, Bab Mansour, Bab El Khémis, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the square of Lahdim. You will have a break to have your lunch in the city of Meknes.
Then, on this 9 Days Marrakech Sahara Tour, you will drive to the next stop: Volubilis, the best preserved Roman ruins in the North Africa to Learn about the historical Roman city that was here once by looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, the Basilica and the Capitoline Temple.
After that, You will drive to Chefchaouen (the blue city) through the Rif Mountains, you are going to pass by Ouazzan City and small Village. Accommodation will be at a riad or hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 10 Exploring - Chefchouen

After breakfast explore the fascinating city of Chefchaouen, “the blue city”. This small city is situated in the Rif Mountains and dates back to 1471. The name of the city is derived from the Berber name: “Chef Chaouen” means, “look of horns”. Chefchaouen is a quiet place to hike and relax. So walk in the old city of Chefchaouen and visit the cascade of Rass El Ma (The Head of The Water); it is the source of water that is used by the city as an irrigation system. You will find the local woman washing clothes and blankets in this public area. Following the tour of chefchaouen you will return to your Riad or Hotel for the night.

Day 11 : Chefchaouen – Casablanca
